In case you are not fan of social media (and many of our members share your sentiment), a majority of our updates concerning upcoming tournaments, new accounts, or general posts concerning officiating will be copied here within a few hours of their original posting on our Facebook page.

We still encourage you to "Like" and "Follow" our Facebook page to get these posts as soon as they come in and to participate in the many excellent discussions we share with other members and referees nationwide.  We also have a YouTube channel in development and our founder, Chris Balasinski, maintains a Instagram account that is not solely about officiating, but offers a glimpse into the private life of our busy assignor.

High School Meetings Begin

October 2, 2017

We were just told "no selfies in the captains meeting." I wonder where that rule came from. 😅

So we are taking them at the classroom meeting! Send us yours!

NCBOA and other high school associations around California are starting their meetings this week. Here's to 15+ hours of rules, grainy game clips, bureaucratic mumbo jumbo, feigning small talk, and droning on about the size of patches allowable on uniforms. 🍻 But as a reward for it all, we get to work the game we love with another $1 raise coming this season!

So remember to bring your coffee mug and don't make it TOO obvious that you're watching the football game on your phone. 😆
