In case you are not fan of social media (and many of our members share your sentiment), a majority of our updates concerning upcoming tournaments, new accounts, or general posts concerning officiating will be copied here within a few hours of their original posting on our Facebook page.

We still encourage you to "Like" and "Follow" our Facebook page to get these posts as soon as they come in and to participate in the many excellent discussions we share with other members and referees nationwide.  We also have a YouTube channel in development and our founder, Chris Balasinski, maintains a Instagram account that is not solely about officiating, but offers a glimpse into the private life of our busy assignor.

NCAA Points of Emphasis

September 29, 2017

This is the video that college coaches will be shown on rule changes and points of emphasis ahead of the 2017-2018 NCAA Men's basketball season. Referees will see a similar video during their preseason clinics that will cover the same points but may possibly include different clips and examples.

For you younger referees, I just saved you the $30+ you would have had to pay at a formal clinic or instructional site. Gray Fox believes that rules education should be free because if there is one thing basketball does not need is another ignorant official.
