We still encourage you to "Like" and "Follow" our Facebook page to get these posts as soon as they come in and to participate in the many excellent discussions we share with other members and referees nationwide.  We also have a YouTube channel in development and our founder, Chris Balasinski, maintains a Instagram account that is not solely about officiating, but offers a glimpse into the private life of our busy assignor.

Las Vegas Officials Seen Warming Up to LaVar

July 31, 2017

In a recent show of solidarity, the NBRA (the NBA officials' union) voiced their disgust with LaVar Ball's mysoginistic comments and expressed disappointment in Adidas for not sanctioning his behavior.

But just two days after the incident, three local Las Vegas officials outside of Court Club were seen warming up to the controversial coach. The gentleman on the far right is likewise an assignor, Chris Fulce, and is no stranger to controversy himself. He may be among many others in making a play for the Adidas contract next year. After all, someone still has to work it.

Pertinent question: Would you? What, if anything, would it take for you to work another Adidas tournament? If as officials we strive for unity, then we should get on the same page or at least the same chapter.

I look forward to reading your responses.
