Dewayne Dedmon's Illegal Screen of Stephen Curry

May 22, 2017

A no-call incorrect: this screen was illegal for two reasons. One, it was still moving as Dewayne Dedmon basically walks into Stephen Curry and uplifts him off the ground from behind.

And two: It came from the blind side so that Curry did not have time to recognize the screen and try to get around it it.

The slot official appears stacked. The lead official has not yet finished his rotation. But this is a foul that has to be called not only for its affect on the play but also for the potential for injury on the defensive player.
