In case you are not fan of social media (and many of our members share your sentiment), a majority of our updates concerning upcoming tournaments, new accounts, or general posts concerning officiating will be copied here within a few hours of their original posting on our Facebook page.

We still encourage you to "Like" and "Follow" our Facebook page to get these posts as soon as they come in and to participate in the many excellent discussions we share with other members and referees nationwide.  We also have a YouTube channel in development and our founder, Chris Balasinski, maintains a Instagram account that is not solely about officiating, but offers a glimpse into the private life of our busy assignor.

Gray Fox Celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January 17, 2017

Today we pay homage to the legacy and embrace the values fought for by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A passionate orator, I was rather hard pressed to find one of his best quotes with a fitting visage; as most of them opt for his calm, contemplative look. Make no mistake — MLK was an emphatic advocate for equality and human rights. Albeit patient and strategic in his approach, he did not yield in his lifelong battle to the thought that progress will eventually come on its own. He fought for it.

In our daily lives, we should not concede, we should not just "let live," and we should speak up against injustice. Be bold, be smart, do right, and don't wait. To paraphrase: It's always the right time to do the right thing.
