In case you are not fan of social media (and many of our members share your sentiment), a majority of our updates concerning upcoming tournaments, new accounts, or general posts concerning officiating will be copied here within a few hours of their original posting on our Facebook page.

We still encourage you to "Like" and "Follow" our Facebook page to get these posts as soon as they come in and to participate in the many excellent discussions we share with other members and referees nationwide.  We also have a YouTube channel in development and our founder, Chris Balasinski, maintains a Instagram account that is not solely about officiating, but offers a glimpse into the private life of our busy assignor.

Gray Fox Founder's Presidential Campaign

December 12, 2016

The latest banner of our founder's presidential campaign features our new campaign slogan: "Let's Make Each Other Better."

It stands for the mindset that each of us should take to our next game — find some way to make our partners better, to make the crew better, which will lead to a better performance on the game. Sometimes it may mean busting each other's balls instead of just patting each other on the backs. It may mean challenging each other, critiquing one another, openly and honestly, in order to get stronger for the next game. If elected NCBOA president, I will do what I can to instill a culture supportive of genuine openness with our fellow official so that each of us can reach our fullest potential.
